Welcome to the glossary. Here I will write about all the different things that I was writing about. This is what would happen if a righty hit this shot. It would be the opposite for a lefty.

Bunker: A bunker (i.e., sand trap) is a pit with sand on the bottom. In the bunker you can't ground your club.

Cut Shots: A cut shot is when you don't release on the follow threw.

Draws: A draw is a type of shot that starts straight and goes slightly left. That makes the ball bounce further. How to hit it is to swing close to your body on your backswing and on the follow threw swing away from you body.

Fades: A fade is the exact opposite of a draw. How to hit it is to do a cut swing.

Fairway: The fairway is the second thinest lair of grass. It's about as thick as turf on a football field. It is the easiest grass to hit off of. You can hit any club the doesn't require a tee off of it. It the same as the tee box except that on the tee box you can use a tee but on the fairway you can't.

Green: The green is the thinest lair of grass. How to hit on it is to use your putter which only has 4 to 5 degrees of loft. When hitting your putter the ball doesn't go in the air unless you hit it hard.

Hook: A hook is when the ball curves to the left.

Loft: Loft is how many degrees the club face is if you put it on a flat ground.

Majors: There are 4 majors. The British Open, The US Open, The Master, and The PGA Championship. They're the most important tournaments.

Pull: A pull is when the ball goes left the whole time.

Push: A push is when ball goes right the whole time.

Par is a set amount of strokes it should take for you to get the ball in the hole.

Rough: The rough is the thickest grass on the golf course. It is about two inches long on a normal course but on a hard course it can get up to four and a half inches like on the course that they played the US Open and the British Open.

Slice: A slice is when the ball curves to the right.
