The Goal

The goal of the game is to get the ball in the hole in the least amount of strokes.

The Rules

Fairway and Rough

  • Play the ball as it lies
  • If you have looked 5 minutes and you can't find your ball go to where you hit your last shot and drop it,   you must add a one stroke penalty
  • If you can't identify your ball you can mark it and pick it up to see
  • If your ball is in any un-normal ground you may pick up your ball and drop it with in 1 club lengths of where your ball last was (your ball may not go any closer to the hole)
  • If your ball is lost in un-normal ground you may drop it, you drop it where your ball last crossed the margin
  • If your ball lands on the wrong green you may drop it within 1 club length
  • If your ball is in a bad lie you may say that it's unplayable, in this case you have 3 options, 
1. Take a drop within 2 club lengths which would be a 1 penalty stroke
2. Take a drop on the backward extension of the line from the hole which would be a one penalty stroke 
3. Take a drop where you last hit your other shot which would be a one penalty stroke

  • If you play the wrong ball you must put the ball back and play your ball which would be a 2 stroke penalty
In the Bunker

  • In the bunker you may not ground the club

Hazards

On the Green

  • If you're on the green and you hit the flagstick it is a 2 stroke penalty
  • You must mark you're ball when others are putting
